Autumn Painting

Well, I was hoping to list it before Wednesday, but had an extremely busy weekend. Still working on the painting.

On a personal note, this was my weekend:

Friday evening: attended a dance with my daughter at her preschool. Then brought her home, went out to Barnes & Noble with friend. Read and sipped on a Green Tea Latte at Starbuck's

Saturday: attended a Lia Sophia Jewelry Party with another friend, painted, celebrated anniversary with husband by going out to dinner and then saw a movie (National Treasure II)

Sunday: attended a Train Hobbyist expo with family, painted, grocery shopping, and then had a birthday party at my house for my mother's boyfriend.

So, that's why I didn't finish this painting.

Saturday Stuff

Today I'm working on a Fall Painting. I'm hoping to list it before Wednesday. It has the usual Autumn Leaves, Birch Trees, a large tree in the foreground and a lake. The size is 11" x 14". I'll post it here when it's finished.

I also have an 18" x 18" with a 1 3/8 thick gallery wrapped canvas painting sketched and waiting for paint.

A New Painting

Well, 2008 has started off nicely. No big issues, paintings in the works and a group show in February in Easthampton, Massachusetts at the d'Art Gallery (I'll talk more about that later).

I just finished a painting:

Calling Me Home

Size: 18" x 14", Acrylic on Gallery-wrapped Canvas, and posted it on ebay.

This is one of my popular subjects I paint. I don't know what it is about Rowboats, but I enjoy painting them. And apparently, other folks like them too.

I sold this painting on ebay. Check out my ebay store for other paintings and auctions.

I've been trying to build up a collection of works to approach a gallery, but, it seems, I keep selling my most recent paintings (not a bad thing, actually good) and not having a large inventory left. Anyway, I'm happy that others like my work. I'll just have to paint more.

As I create more, I'll regularly post them here.
Thanks for visiting, Renee
